After the WM9 Codec has been tested the best Codec currently on the market, it would be great if someone would write a Guide using this Codec together with VirtualDubMod or GordianKnot.

Or is there already one, and I just have not seen it yet?

Best codec!!??

Where??

Well, you see, WM9 codec are more intended to be compressed with Windows Media Encoder only as a .WMV file.

There is a VFW codec available so you could use WM9 in AVI files, but it's slow and not all features are supported.

The encoding method would be the same as if you'd encode DivX/XviD except that you just change codec to WM9.

There's very little options provided in the codec and most of them should be obvious.
