View Full Version : Problem with 5.1 Wav created with BeSweet

I've just tried creating a 5.1 wav from a 5.1 ac3 using the Besweet. The conversion seems to work fine, but when I try to play it i get noise (though you can still hear some of the music as well as the white noise). Is this maybe a playback problem? What do I need to be able to play back 5.1 wavs?

When I set it to output a stereo wav (from the same input file) everything works fine. Here's the logfile:

if you're creating 6chwav, you should avoid any channels donwmix (eg, -s surround2).

Cheers,

Wow! That was a quick reply...thanks.

I tried it again without the surround2 switch, and it's worked fine this time, ta.
