My card is Wintv-go 38104 rev B208. Heres the picture http://www.snapstream.com/buy/images/goboard2.jpg Vfw-drivers from Hauppauge are from 2001 and those are prolly made by Osprey. Osprery seems to have new drivers that are dated may 2003 and those doesn't seem to work with a Hauppauge card so we need to do a modification.

Browsing some search engines I found pretty good site: http://home.t-online.de/home/gunther.mayer/bttv/bttv-gallery.html they have eeprom dumps, yummy. The top most 8-pin SMD IC is the eeprom 24c02, I desoldered it. Read it with a programmer and put it away and bought a new IC from a local shop for the mod.

Heres the original contents of the eeprom:

At first I tried to change the manufacturer code from Hauppauges "13 eb" to Ospreys "ff 01" but it didn't work.
Needed to do some more.
That BTTV-site has Osprey-200 cards eeprom:

With hex editor I moved the adresses from 0040-0070 and 00f0 to the original file.
Heres what it looks like after the changes.

Then I soldered the IC to the card and put the card back to the computer. The Osprey drivers installed like a dream and the picture showed up in virtualdub. Now I have new drivers and much more settings to explore.

If you want to mod your own hardware I don't take any responsibility for damaged hardware. I don't know if the tuner works since the Ospreys equivalent card doesn't have one and I didn't test it.
