I've converted 2 DVDs using DVD2SVCD. Both times I split to 2 CDs by selecting chapters. For example, SVCD #1 was DVD chapters 1-8 and SVCD #2 was DVD chapters 9-16.
The problem I'm having is, on the final SVCDs, the timecode is screwed-up. For example, I skip to the second chapter and the timecode reads 8:20, skipping to the third chapter it reads 3:45, skipping to the fourth chapter it's 20:15. Even though the timecode goes back and forth, skipping chapters always goes forward in the movie. Also, the chapters are in different locations than on the original DVD. They start right in the middle of a scene.
I don't know if this makes any sense, it's kind of hard to explain. I haven't changed any of the original pre-set settings. I'm just wondering if this is a normal glitch that occurs from time to time. Or if I'm doing something wrong.
