Help with subtitles

dvddecrypter 3.1.6.0
doitfast4u v 1.1.1.0
docce4u v 1.0.1.4
reauthorist v 1

what i am trying to do is copy the movie american pie 2 from a region 2 dvd.

I made an image of the disk using dvdecrypter and have mounted the image using daemon tools 3.32
When I first started the rip it said vobsub wasn't installed and go get it so I have done that.
I have followed the guide so far, but when doitfast4u comes to ripping the subs i get an error requester come up saying

Error parsing parameter file

I click the ok button and it continues but when it comes to the reauthorist stage there are no subtitles.

Can someone explain what I am doing wrong.

that error usually means you tried to rip subs but there were none to rip. It happens every once in a while, as the IFOs are not always truthful. Not to mention you'll notice that an IFO states what subs exist, but NOT which pgcs contain them. Just click Ok or cancel or whatever, and continue your project.

That does seem strange as i know that there are subs in there.
Also it seems that dif4u doent like my disk image as after only doing 1 vts set it stops with an invalid dvd structure message and the only way to get it working again is to quit the program unmount the image and then remount it. That isn't a major issue but I was just wondering if you had any idea why that happens?
