Just bought a Thomson DTH 7000E DVD player/HDD recorder and have problem playing s/vcd. Some work and som donīt.
Have tried Nero and PrassiDVD 2.0 and like 5 different brands of cd-r/rw...

Is there a way to do a SOLID vcd that plays in all stand alone dvd playeres that support vcd?

Hi ktd,

Just to share my experience with a THOMSON DTH 5200.

It only works fine with Verbatim but burned at 4x or max 8x. Any other brands/speeds poduce some problems during playback. I have tried 4/5 brands and no way.

BTW, I have a not new traxdata burner: CDRW121032.

I use Nero, but burning images created with VCDXbuild, but this is not the problem.

Cheers

Edit: Sorry, I had a mistake in the exact model
