I was trying to use DVDShrink and DVD2one together since DVDShrink only seems to use one compression lvl for the whole movie and therefor often wastes up to a GIG of disk space (havent been here in awhile, has this problem in DVDShrink been discussed?).

So I was using DVDShrink to clip the start and finish of a film off, and then planned to use DVD2one to re-encode (since it uses all of the available disk space).

Anyway, the problem I kept running in to was that DVD2one keeps telling me that any video that DVDShrink has processessed is encrypted. So I dont know which one the bug is in.

dvdshrink does not remove css, you need to rip the movie with dvddecrypter and then run it through dvdshrink, dvdone, etc

i have the same problem....

dvd2one cannot handle dvd shrink output.

u may want to run dvdtoolbox on the output generated by dvdshrink and then use the output of dvdttolbox to process in dvd2one

It was originally ripped w/ dvddecrypter, then processed with dvdshrink.

actually, dvdshrink descrambles video if the input is scrambled (at least if you take it directly from the DVD.. I've never tried scrambled HD input and frankly that wouldn't make too much sense since the ripping routines in DVD Decrypter are more powerful than the ones of DVD Shrink).
