In Sydney: best prices I can find for -R:

RitekX4, www.auspcmarket.com.au: A$150 for 25
VerbatimX4: www.ht.com.au: A$7
TDK X2: wwww.kestonholdings.com.au: A$275 for 50 (inc. GST) but they should have the new armour coated X4 in July, hopefully for the same price.

Anyone know any better deals? I imagine if you import from the US customs would add GST, yes?

PCMarket (http://www.pcmarket.com.au) in Rydalmere will be selling 4x DVD-Rs (they ID in DVD Decrypter as RitekG04). I bought 20 from them at $3.50 each - they've ordered some in on a "trial basis" which is why you won't find them on their website. They should be selling 100-disc spindles soon.

Mind you I bought those DVDs at the same time as a Pioneer DVR-A05 so YMMV.

Best price I've seen for 2x verbatims is $6.05...delivery by courier only though. Haven't ordered any from them.

$6.49 for 4x:

As for imports, I believe GST is only levied for goods valued over a certain sum, can't remember what the threshold is though.
