Hi,

I have used DIF4U (1.1.1.0), DC4U (1.0.1.4) and ReAuthorist (1.0.0) to succesfully backup some of my DVD's. Unfortunatly I ran into my first problem. It's concerns the DVD of Shrek (R-2):

After ripping the whole thing, i notice a delay of around 7 seconds in the subtitle display (all subtitle-languages have the problem) in the main movie. The Audio sync is fine. The subtitle sync in the extra's are OK too.

Any ideas why this problem occurs using the Big 3?

It might help to notice that DIF4U put the VTS_01_0.VOB in the VIDEO_TS directory, although it's part of the VTS that contains the main movie; the VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB and VTS_01_3.VOB where not put in the VIDEO_TS directory, but instead put through the DC4U and Scenarist process. It seems the VTS_01_0.VOB contains over 600MB worth of (moving) menus. Could this be causing the problem? (And while we're on it; why is this .VOB file not processed anyway, although it's way above the +200MB limit)

How to solve this and in which stage of the proces?

Thanx in advance!

Well, the VTS_0X_0.VOB files are generally the menu sets for the VTS. NuMenu4U which just came out goes thru and recompresses the menu vob files for you so you should now be able to shrink that down.

I am not going to be much help on the subs tho. :( I have been using the "Big 3" since they have been released for the most part and I have never had an issue with the subs matching up.
