Convert DivX to MPEG2 or DVD VOB

I have been trying to convert a DivX movie, with MPEG Layer-3 audio, to DVD. I have tried both Ulead Movie Factory and TMPGEnc w/o success. Both convert the movie w/o hanging, but the audio in the converted files only lasts for about 9 seconds. If I play the DivX AVI file in either encoder, both the video and audio play through the entire movie.

I have installed DivX 5.05 and AC3 Filter. I have also tried with MS-MPEG4-V1 thru V3 enabled and disabled via Video Codec Swap.

I'm not sure how to display/enable/disable audio codecs though.

Any solutions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Extract the audio with VirtualDub(Mod) and use BeSweet/AC3Machine to convert the audio to AC3. Then use a DVD authoring program to remux audio/video.

I was afraid I might be posting to the wrong forum, but I didn't have any problems authoring from other types of encoding; only Divx.
