Hello,
I've got the german version of Die another day.

Now I'm trying to rip it with the needed suptitels of scenes where they speak russian.

Normally I could get this forced subtitels with vobsub but this program doesn't get any suptitels out of the movie!

The DVD2SVCD own subtitelmethod uses subtitels in the whole movie.

Has anybody a solution for this problem?

Regards

I don't have the title, but maybe you are just selecting the wrong ifo in Vobsub?
Often the main movie is not in VTS1, but in VTS2 or higher...
But I don't know if it is necessary to point Vobsub to the correct ifo, or if it is able to recognize it by itself...
But I think it's worth the try...

There're only 2 ifo's on disk:
- VIDEO_TS.IFO
- VTS_01_0.IFO

The DVD slupports different camera views, so I think this is the problem VOBsub has with the movie.

The program can find 5 or 6 German subtitels but if I try to extract them they're empty.

I ripped the Dutch version yesterday, the subtitles when they speak Russian (and Korean) are encoded in the movie.

Not sure about the German version off course.
The (permanent) subs are in English.
