I have tried DVD Shrink with no success !
Ripped full Dvd's with DVD decrypter(ieToy Story 2 & Minority Report) compressed using the least level of compression possible with DVD Shrink.
Now the problem occurs......playback, WinDvd, of the first chapter is fine.....chapter 2 and onwards play with NO AUDIO......tried other titles but always the same.
Please someone tell me what am i doing wrong. Usually use the DVDdecrypter-ifoedit method to produce backup movies only.....with 100% success so it must be me that is doing something wrong as other people can get this program to work with success.

Have you tried using just DVDShrink to rip and compress? Are you backing up the whole DVD or movie only with DVDShrink?

I had this happen with a particular dvd. It turned out that it was the Dolby 6 ch that went out. It was the dvd's fault.

Thanks both for your replies.
Firstly I have tried both methods of ripping and shrinking.......I am trying to keep MOVIE only. Only using this method for the films that won't fit onto 1 disc.

Tried again and again since this post........still the same results ?!

I also tried v2 and got the same result with FaceOff. Everything was great, with the exception of audio. I also notice that the Subtitle was giving more than one when selecting from menu, but only the one that was not remove was there. Like when you hit the subtitle button, you will rotate thru English, French and Spanish, but with only English displaying.

Since this is the first time I used the interface, I might have hit something wrong. After looking at the interface again, I have notice that it's not a good ideal to touch the main dvd, but rather dig into the section and de-select the options you don't want.

When I have time to try it out again, We'll see if the audio comes back.

It is indeed the DVD. Tried another program and it did the same thing, sort of. Was able to get the audio to work, but I had to switch it.
