I am 5.5.10.28 and not sure to move. it's perfect along with Imgtool 1.0.0.4
Do not forget to unselect Iso9660 in Imgtool optio to remove Joliet+ISO ; this make only UDF DVD, which are the most compatible. Thx Coujo for the tip . Check www.coujo.de for details

is nero a better burning program for dvd video than just dvd decrypter and imgtool (to make the image file). i've heard it is, but havent had any problems just using dvddecrypter.

I've been using Nero 5.5.10.35 after using 5.5.10.28 with no problems. I think RecordNow Max is a better movie burning app. If you burning from an image it really doesnt matter. If you are creating a movie from the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders then it does. Nero will burn those folders even if there is a problem with them. Max will at least spit out and error before you make a coaster.

I can't pin down the exact combination that causes it, but updates of the File Browser window sometimes slow to a crawl. You can see each item drawn, one by one. When you size a column, you can see in agonizing detail the process it goes through to update the name, size, etc.
I assumed this was just my machine, until I tried on a totally different machine, with a totally different O/S. So both a Pentium III 667MHz w/Windows 2K and an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ w/Windows ME do the same thing (although the 667MHz does so considerably slower than the 2400+, naturally).
Has anyone else encountered this? I upgraded from 5.5.9.9 to 5.5.10.35. Any idea in which version this first showed up?

I am not sure it comes from Nero..
Even on my P4 3Ghz WinXP it does slow down in an horrible waywhen seleting a directory with tons of files, like a Subs dir...
What is more strange to me, is that occurs also when you select the parent directory (VTS0x).
Perhaps some index function running ..

Are this DVDs playable in PC? I guess that PC uses ISO for reading those media .

Even on my P4 3Ghz WinXP it does slow down in an horrible waywhen seleting a directory with tons of files, like a Subs dir...That's the funny thing, it doesn't just happen with a directory with a large number of files. In fact, my Downloads directory has more files than most any (other than \Windows\System), but that directory seems OK. At least one of the times I saw this symptom, the number of files didn't even fill the File Explorer window. Very strange....
