Hi,

I know I know, I DID search first, and the threads I found helped, but now they won't, and I don't know how old they are so I didn't want to force it back up.

I want to framserve from Virtual Dub, since I added numerous filters (cleaners, subtitle scripts) into CCE. I tried making a .avs script pointint CCE to the frames, and it worked 1 time, but will never work again!

Now, I get "CCE.exe has performed an illegal operation..." and shuts down. I tried making the .avs script point to "frames" "frames.vdr", putting it in different folder, and even reversing the "\" marks to "/" in the directory. No matter what I can't seem to get it to work.

How can I fix this?? please help someone

Edit: Frameserving from Virtual Dub, and CCE 2.5

You should post this in the VirtualDub forum instead. I don't think it has anything to do with CCE. I never used the VirtualDub frameserver so I know nothing about it. Why don't you just use AVISynth filters instead?

I've tried the same, by setting up VirtualDub to frameserve and then making an avs file with:
AVISource("c:\windows\desktop\blah blah.vdr.avi")
It frameserves fine that way...shame I'm having other problems with CCE (with and without virtualdub frameserving)!

It will say now "Frame size 864x56 not supported", when the video is 720 by 480. I even add the resize filter to 720 by 480 but it still tells me that.

The AVS script is failing, see CCE FAQ Q14.2.
