Well, I have compressed many movies and I write them on cd's by dragging and dropping the *.avi file in nero with iso mode 1. If I enable the box "verify data" it checks it and it always comes up with an error. (Of course it can't be seen on the movie.) What I'm asking is:
Does anybody know of a better (and more secure) way to copy the avi on cd?

Maybe the error is due to the renaming of the file by nero?
You can specify in Nero how much characters it can use for the name of the file, if you set it too ASCII-mode, then you have the maximum number of possible characters, but you are not compatible to windows 95...
Try to look in that...
Or just rename an avi to a short name, and look if the verification is still unsuccessful...

are you sure you are not trying to burn a Video-CD
with avi-files instead of MPG?
