I'm using DataWrite 2.4 speed dvd+r. Some 50 dvd's I have burned from that brand. No coasters. No problems burning. No image failiure on stand alone player. Plays without problems in Philips D!k and another five players.
The Philips player is the difficult one playing dvd's. How the disks stay on the long term I don't know. The cost are 100 for 150 Euro on fairs. Could be cheeper but sellers are doing price fixing.
Also using Imagion 2.95 Euro and Nashua 5 Euro same as above.
Datawrite has a Yellow black label.;) Using a nec 1100 +r burner. :D :D

I hate to sound sarcastic, but if you ask for cheap, pay for cheap, all you get is cheap. Don't skimp, you'll wish later you didn't. Just get name brands. Verbatim is a very good product and reasonably priced.

As i have a pioneer (and of course not the upcoming 106) I don't know avbout DVD+R, but I would have a try with Ritek DVD+R. It's the best bulk media for DVD-R so, they might not be too bad in +R.

I am sure that someone here already try these and can report about it.

Bestbuy.com has the REAL TDK DVD+R 4x in spindle, 100 in spindle for $189 and free shipping... Sounds like a pretty good deal if you want 4x branded quality media.

Hello all,

what is your opinion on VERBATIM, IMATION and HP DVD+R. I doubt that HP produce its own DVD+R media so it has to be some "no name" producer behind them. Unfortunatelly I´m not able to find out manufacturer ID. And I have red in this forum that IMATION is the same case . Any experinece with any of those brands??
