A few years ago I had a program that fixed some aspect ratio weirdness with MPGs. I'm talking about the ones that have one aspect ratio when you play them in WMP6.4 in a window and look fine, but when you switch to full screen they have an incorrect ratio.

It was a very simple program. If I remember correctly, you loaded the MPG. It could then automatically determine the aspect ratio, or you could select it from a list.

I believe it was called MPGFix or MPEGFixer or something like that, but I'm not sure. It worked GREAT, but I can't find it anymore. Any help locating this program will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

MPEG Fixer is a small utility for changing the field order and/or the aspect ratio in mpeg files, and is part of the DVMPEG package.

I have captured a movie frm VHS pal
and encoded as NTSC dvd using my pinnacle pro card thru adobe. But wheni burnt dvd-r and played on dvd standalone it was SHAKING and VIBRATING.
Then have tried the changer.exe , and i swap the field order , it was playing fine on standalone till 1:16 , after then it was SHAKING again.

So is this a limitation of this software or wat ,

P.S i have cap the movie in one single part , so there is no point to think that i have forgotten to swap the field order of other parts :).

Please Help me out.I dont want to throw away my 18 hours hard workd including encoding , capping , authring...

Thanks in advance.

Maybe you can cut the video in more then one part, use the tool, and paste it back together (if needed at all)
