I ripped Red Dragon with DoItFast4U 1.1.1 and encoded with DoCCe4U 1.0.1.2 using CCE 2.5. Then I used Reauthorist RC3 to create the Scenarist .SCP. I opened up the file in Scenarist, and everything was alright except the 2nd VTS videos were only present as links and not data since they were pointed to non-existant .mpv files. I pointed them to the .mpv.m2v files of their pgcs and selected "Place Holder->Data" to change the place holders to data. And for some reason when I author the whole thing, the menu works, the movie works, but for some reason the extra making of videos just spit me back to the menu when i try to watch them.

I had the same problem while backing up the Recruit last night. It seemed to happen to me on the extras that DIF4U had created with a NOPULL filename. I'm gonna submit a bug report to aquabubble because I think this is a Reauthorist issue.

That is not a problem with DIF4U or ReAuthorist. Upgrade your version of DoCCE4U to 1.0.1.4. There was a naming issue with previous releases that have been fixed in the current version of DC4U.

Unfortunately, you will have to import the video clip by hand this time unless you just feel like re-encoding the whole project. :D

Here (http://docce4u.panthersden.com) is the link for DC4U's main website if you do not have it.

Additional note:
As a side note, once you upgrade DC4U to 1.0.1.4 you may want to go out and find the newest version of ECLCCE (1.5a if I am not mistaken). I know the version of ECLCCE included in this release of DC4U has problems running CCE 2.50. I don't know exactly where to find it, but if you do a forum search for it, it should be easy to find.

Hope that helped you out.

Shane

I have done that, but I still cannot play the extras off the DVD. For some reason it still spits me back to the main menu when i try to view any of the video extras.

Hmmm.. Sounds like you may have had a problem merging the authored IFO files back into the originals or perhaps when setting the VTS sectors. Usually when there is an error in that stage it will cause an illegal navigation command or some other error that is usually obvious. :(
