I just picked up a laptop and would like to use it to deejay small events. Any recommendations for software to use?

I would be playing music for small events, mostly either swing dancing or line dancing related. Here's a short list of what I would like to be able to do:
<ul>
<li>Play MP3s or audio CDs
<li>Can list several gigs worth of MP3s on the hard drive<UL><LI>Sort MP3s by different criteria (length, BPM, etc)<LI>Set up a play list, add/delete/modify that playlist on the fly, etc</ul><li>Mix one song into another</ul>
