I've never used IC since the update so I ain't come across this error but as I had nothing to do this morning I thought I'd take a look at it so I ripped Road To Perdition for a test

stripped just one VOB ID of two, leaving the 0.xx sec entry and got the List Index Out Of Bounds (-1) error

spotted it straight away after trying GET VTS SECTORS and tried something and as usual I've come up with the working fix and it's fairly simple to fix but the guide may take a little while to knock up

back as soon as possible :D

Well done MackernX once again.

Lets face it, Pinnacle are NEVER going to get title stripping working properly as it compromises their sensitivities to illegal copying. So we are left with the job of manual preparation of the files before IC indefinitely........

Your fix reminds me of the instructions provided by Derrow for DVD-9 to 2 x DVD-5's processing.

With the knowledge you have built up on how to use Ifoedit (and occasionaly IfoUpdate) to get FULLY DVD compliant files before IC processing is it feasible to design a dedicated tool to do all the vob/stream stripping properly?

You might even make a few £££'s!

Nice work MackemX,

I have another theory that might work (untested):

I was wondering if you reassigned the "cell 1: vobid 1" to "vobid 2" would give the same results. (Then stripping vobid 1)

either way, I think it's the same amount of work along the same lines!
there's more than one way to skin a cat?! ;)

again, thanks for the fix!

It is a solution, but way too complicated and time consuming.

I'm still convinced this is a Instant Copy problem and not a user problem because with previous versions of Instant Copy (v7.02 and earlier) I had never this problem.

Now, I strip with DVD Shrink in uncompressed mode and remove unwanted stuff if I desire and then I compress it with Instant Copy v7.11. Works great this way and is easy and does not require the hassle with ifo-edit.
