IC: Still required to strip with DVDShrink First???

Hi

I noticed in the latest updates there a couple of fixes, namely

"Phantom cell sets" fixed
Still picture problem fixed (occured in menus with sound)

So I was wondering if it is still recommended to strip with DVDShrink first or does these bugfixes address that problem

is this movie only or 1:1?

It is movie only but in Mrbass's tutorial he says its better to strip first for movie only because of a few problems it causes... Can't remember the details but I believe him.

But then I noticed the bug fixes and wondered if this addressed those issues..

the best movie stripper is DVDToolbox but you need to rip the movie VOB's 1st

but it keeps all the IFO's just right :D

hi,
if you want not just the movie but menu and or extra I strongly suggest not to touch the original files when using IC cause it seem to randomly freeze. this happens also even after just stripping streams (with ifoedit or dvdshrink e.g.).
IC works flawless when leaving everything intact (at least on my system)...
