loading multiple vob files in virtualdubmod

many searched have preceeded this posting. Sorry if I've missed the answer.

Running with vdubmod 1.5.1.1a and I think I should be able to load multiple vobfiles in one go using the txt files created by smartripper. But no.

There is no *.txt option on the file/open dialog

if I point the open dialog at any txt file ( SR or handmade ) I always get

cannot determine file type of <path_of_txt_file>

any ideas ?

Yes you've missed the answer. We had to switch to fccHandlers Mod for MPEG2 handling which doesn't have those features (multiple mod reading / TXT).

oh dear - any plans for it to return one day ? I'm trying to find a method of encoding vobs avoiding dvd2avi+avisynth as dvd2avi seems to sometimes drop frames and therefore affects AV sync.

Well, lats thing I heard was that pulco is back and working on something new in this direction ;) Otherwise you can rip your vobs to one vob or open them via nics plugin in avisynth.
