Splitting a DVD with IFO Edit - MASH Backup Question

I followed the guide to a T, and thought it was all fine, but when I burned the disc and played it, it is shown in widescreen, but on a 4:3 TV. When the FBI warning came up, the sides were cut off, as well as the Fox logo. Finally, the menus didn't show up much at all, the top part showed and part of the highlights when the buttons were selected, but that's about it.

Any ideas?
