I'm attempting to re-encode some .avi files that I've downloaded from various sources so that they take up less disk space. The files I am having trouble with are in the format ******-ftv.avi
When I re-encode then to Div-X 5.05 and MP3 128k the audio always ends up out of sync. I've selected the "Sync to video" and "Drop frames when beind" options but they don't correct the problem.
Just to pre-empt any questions.
The source files are synced.
When I re-encode any other .avi file they work fine.
I'm running XP1900, 768mb RAM, 10gb HD space free.
If you need any other information let me know.
