Hello,

i got a computer generated anime. It is interlaced PAL (720x576, 4:3, very good quality (from digibeta tape)). The problem is that there are sometimes very thin vertical lines. These line are flickering, because most of the time the line is only present in one field. (one pixel height). I tried fielddeinterlace (decomp-package) and it looks very good in low-motion scenes, but in high motion the picture quality is not aceptable. Has anybody experienced that kind of problem before, and can help me? Maybe a blur/sharpen combo?

regards,
Udo Sauer

1) post a screenshot (VirtualDub -> ctrl-1)
2) lines or rows as you say 1pixel HEIGHT ? (glaube du meinst Zeilen)
3) how often are those? every 10,100,1000 frames?
