MPEG AC3 Editor

Are there any editors or convertors out there that will take an AVI file with a 6ch wave audio and convert it to MPEG2/AC3?

Try DVD2SVCD in avi mode - it will use BeSweet for the audio and CCE/TMPGEnc/Canopus to produce the mpv file. You can choose whether you going to put it onto (S)VCD or DVD-R aswell in the Bitrate tab of DVD2SVCD.
