Hi everybody,
I have a same movie in two version: a vcd@29fps which has the best sound quality, and a svcd@25fps which has the best picture quality. Now I'd like to mulitplex the sound of the 1st and the pic of the 2nd in order to have the best version possible, but after having tried this, I realized that as the output film is played, the sound is more and more desynchronized with the picture, surely bcoz of mpeg sources different fps.
Knowing that I don't want to reencode the version w/ best picture to keep its original quality, but that I can afford to reencode the version w/ best sound to match the 25 fps, now I'd like to know if with TMPGEnc or another software, do i really have to encode the picture as well as the sound of the mpeg, to convert its framerate from 29 to 25, or can i just ignore the video and go only for the sound? I'm having a doubt on this coz in TMPGenc when I choose to ouput only the sound from my vcd mpeg file, the video settings just disappear, like if the fps will remain the same.
