Greetings.

First of all I'd like to thank all developers involved for their work (DSPguru, Garf, rjamorim).

Ogg Vorbis GT3b1 binaries were released on rjamorim's site on 2003-05-20, so I would like to know if anyone noticed any problem (quality mainly) in using BeSweet with GT3b1 dlls. I've made it work, but I'm not sure if it fits DVD audio transcoding better than CVS 1.0.

I know that GT3b1 is better tunned for higher bitrates (-q6 gives nominal bitrate 212kbps instead of 192kbps as with CVS 1.0, overall bitrate was higher and therefore file bigger), but I'm not sure if it is as good as CVS 1.0 was with low bitrates (64-128kbps).

So please post your experiences, suggestions or comments here.

Best regards.

If anybody is interested, here (http://rarewares.hydrogenaudio.org/ogg.html) is rjamorim's site with Ogg Vorbis GT3b1 dlls for use with BeSweet.

I was raising this subject again here (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=9306&st=25&#entry109385), because my information is that GT3 libs are better at bitrates < 64 kbps than the standard CVS 1.0 libs ?

From my understanding the lower bitrates (below -q5) in GT3b1 are the same as the 1.0 release. I'd be very surprised if they were worse because Garf's said he started with the 1.0 release.
