The first step towards a solution is to sit down and take some time to clearly write down your problem. Too soon to predict what the next steps may be.

Hello:
It can be confusing, can't it? Your DVD has several gigabytes of information on it, so you'll need to compress this information to fit it onto CD-R discs, as this appears to be your intention. You may want to take a look at DVD2SVCD. (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm) Although it may appear very complex at first glance, read it through several times, get the guide in your hands........and go to work. This is a sweet little program and will show you one way of accomplishing your desired task. When you get stuck, post back, someone will help as long as you don't break every posting rule in the book. Might be a good idea to check out the forum rules at the top of the page, and the stickies over in DVD2SVCD Basic Topics. There's a good one on posting etiquette. Jazz has offered some good advice too, you first need to identify what you have, and what you want to do with it. In the beginning, even this can seem like a big problem, but the tools offered here at Doom9 are unmatchable. Read, search, test, and then post your problems. Good luck!
