I authored several SVCDs. The all have the same structure:
1 menu + 8 mpg videos. From the menu, I can start each mpg, the timeout value for each mpgs is set to the next mpg, so when selecting video 2, it jumps to video 3, when video 2 is over. Everything works fine, but there is one thing that's quite annoying: When playing the SVCD on my standalone, it cuts off the last second of the video. As most videos have an audio comment in the last seconds, this is annoying. One solution would be, to add an empty two second video clip to each video, but I'd prefer to force my standalone to play each video to the end... My player is a Scott 838. Any suggestions? I use TSCV or VCDEasy to author the SVCDs...
