Hi folks.

First I wanna say that I DID search this forum for an answer, but found none.

Does anyone here knows how can I listen to DTS CD's using my hollywood plus real magic DVD card?

I already know that it'll playback DTS streams within VOB files, but that's a totaly different thing from DTS CD as I've understood. If I understood correctly, DTS Cd's are recorded at 44.1khz compared to the 48khz recordings of DTS on DVD's.

The best I got so far was to use the audio-out plugin for Winamp, which can be found on eugene's DVD player homepage. If I open a DTS wav file from within Winamp, and set the output to the H+'s SPDIF, then my reciever DOES recognize the stream as a DTS stream. Problem is - you don't hear anything. total silence. Not even that quiet noise that you'd hear if you'll play the wav file using the analog out.

Please, HELP, I'm an audio junkie and I wanna use this feature. I know there are lots of soundcards out there with SPDIF output, but I don't have one. (I do have a C-Media onboard card, which has a 6-channel output. If all fails, I guess that'll be the next best option.)

Thank you for your replies.
