Hi,
I was wondering about the possibility of backin' up multiangle dvds with the combo doif4u+docce+ra. How must this be done, if possible? Rip everything in doif4u checking the multiangle checkbox for every pgc and then proceed as usual in RA and DoCCE4U?
Thanks...

I've just come across my first multiangle title too (K-19: The Widowmaker). I didn't check the IFO on my first attempt, and if it wasn't for the fact that the first 400 odd subtitles of each language in the movie VTS where missing I wouldn't have even realised. Instead of having no subtitles where the first 400 should've been, all subtitles were brought forward, so subtitle 400 became subtitle 1. I tried demuxing by PGC again with all angles selected, but the first 400 odd subtiles of each language were still missing. Pitty RA can't handle demuxes done by VOB ID/Cell ID yet :( . Still kicks buttocks though :) .

Since all the titles having multiangles I have ever seen must be done by vobid you can't use RA for this.
besides that I don't think that the video will be encoded correctly (close all gops, auto I frame).

Jepp, Iīve never seen a multiangle movie without VobID structure, too.
RA can only handle strip by PGC movies.
thatīs the point :(
Only way ist to make this movie manual.

Well, I have seen one or two only in my career, but this is an example of the kind of VTS that can be backed up with RA:
PGC_1 (program chain): [Title(TTN): 1] [00:00:06.13 / 25 fps] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 4) (uses VOB-IDs: 1,2,3,4)
[Ch 01] [Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 1/ 1] (Angle 1): time: 00:00:06.13 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:06.13] [Frames: 163]
[Cell 02] [V/C Id: 2/ 1] (Angle 2): time: 00:00:06.13 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:06.13] [Frames: 163]
[Cell 03] [V/C Id: 3/ 1] (Angle 3): time: 00:00:06.13 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:06.13] [Frames: 163]
[Cell 04] [V/C Id: 4/ 1] (Angle 4): time: 00:00:06.13 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:06.13] [Frames: 163]
PGC_2 (program chain): [Title(TTN): 2] [00:00:11.15 / 25 fps] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 4) (uses VOB-IDs: 5,6,7,8)
[Ch 01] [Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 5/ 1] (Angle 1): time: 00:00:11.15 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:11.15] [Frames: 290]
[Cell 02] [V/C Id: 6/ 1] (Angle 2): time: 00:00:11.15 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:11.15] [Frames: 290]
[Cell 03] [V/C Id: 7/ 1] (Angle 3): time: 00:00:11.15 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:11.15] [Frames: 290]

PGC_3 (program chain): [Title(TTN): 3] [00:00:09.22 / 25 fps] (Programs: 1) (Cells: 4) (uses VOB-IDs: 9,10,11,12)
[Ch 01] [Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 9/ 1] (Angle 1): time: 00:00:09.22 / 25 fps [Pos: 00:00:09.22] [Frames: 247]

Ohhh! That IFO structure looks extremely similar to the one I've come across in K19, apart from the fact K19 has only a single PGC in the movie VTS. Interesting, I'll have another look tonight when I get home.
