about SVCD2DVDr , can´t install

dunno if this is the right place to ask but I´ll give it a try...
I have done backing up the movies I had from dvd to dvdr and now would like to have som svcds on dvd. So I tried with the SVCD2DVDR prigram but can´t even isntall it... it claims I do no have .NET framework. now what is that?

visual studio .net is the latest (well, .net 2003 is out now) development suite from microsoft, and instead of needing dll's like msvcrt60.dll, it requires the .net framework.

.net framework should be available from windows update, or http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads
