transfering huge wavs with No quality loss on cd-r(w) or zips...

i have wavs that are 500megs to 1 gig a piece that i need to transfer from work to homw without loss of quality. should i zip them or rar or mp3 at 320 ? whats the best option here also considering i can not wait a whole day-week to compress like 15 gigs of audio. :-)
