I have tried running Star Trek Nemesis through the DoItFast4U backup guide. I encode the video, but when I try to author the DVD files using Pinnacle Impressions DVD or TMPEG DVD author it says that the framerate is 23.97 and it must be 29 for NTSC???
did you pulldown the file?

What does that do? Doesn't the program do that for me?
Sorry dude, I'm a noob.

Running a pulldown on the file brings the frame rate up from 23.97 up to NTSC standard.

Ah ok. But is the DVD not in NTSC standard to begin with?

It all depends on how it was originally authored. Some things you will find do not need to be pulled down to integrate back into Scenarist. Some do.
