Hi,

Can anybody give me a starting tips on how to put 2 movies on a single DVD ? What soft can I use to play with the IFOs in order to get a valid DVD structure including these two movies ?

Thanx for your help

Jeff

Forget this topic guys. I take a few minutes to search in another forums and find the solutions.

Hi,

I would suggest you prepare both movies with DIF4U, taking care of the final size (see the guides), and once you've got all your assets, just use Maestro or Scenarist to import everything, maybe create a menu that will help selecting movie 1 or movie 2. Trilight UpberGuide, although a bit "complicated" for newcomers, contains a lot of information about the whole process.
You'll find all the guides you need here in Doom9, for ripping and demuxing your original DVDs, then for authoring the final one with Scenarist or Maestro. Basically you'll have to create two movies in your authoring program, assign corresponding audio tracks, subs and chapters, create a menu in your favourite Imaging software and assign "behaviors" to the different items in this menu (see the maestrio or scenarist guides for this).
If you are really new to this, let me warn you it is not "that" simple, and you are probably going to experiment some difficulties (most of which have already been solved in the forums here) and you are also going to spend a lot of time. Still, this is an extremely interesting experience and very rewarding.
Once you finally find a convenient method of yours, you'll know a lot about DVD structure and you'll be able to reproduce the process pretty easily.

Good luck.
