how to use acm & icm handler to play wmv9 codeced video file?

hi, i recently downloaded a streaming file using vod recorder and want to watch
this file with windows media player. Accidentantly, one of my pc using win98, I succeed to play this file using Adrenalin which activated acm & icm handler and
I could watch this file. How can I watch this file?
I used gspot , this program told me this file's video codec is wmv3 which
window media 9 codec file?
How can I watch?

I play wmv3 files (as identified with GSpot) with media player classic.

Using Windows Media Player maybe? That should definitley work if it's in fact wmv3. Or are you looking for alternatives?
