My current backup project appears to have CC (Shawshank Redemption). When I started DoItFast4U I noticed that the + CC button was automatically checked. Ok no problem, so I went and check out the CC guide on the DoItFast4U site. Problem is in the sub directory that was created for the cc, I only have one file. Its a .scc file. This does not quite add up with the information that is in the guide so I was hoping someone could tell me what is going on?
One more question. When DoItFast4U does the subs, does make any decisions or give any information regaurding Forced Subs, or would one be required to do some manual searching in order to find them? After reading the docs and looking through the forum the forced sub senario is still unclear to me, so any info on this would be appriciated.
Thanks.

O righty then. The closed caption file is saved in the .scc file as you said. To import this into scenarist you would load your track, fire up the simulation window, scroll down to the Line21 switch and check it. Then under the Line21 switch there is a place to load the Line21 file. This is where the .scc file goes. There may be other ways to get to the track properties to set the Line21 stuff, but that is just the way that I do it. :)
On to your second point, forced subs. I have done much searching and really have yet to find much information about it. The best I can tell you is read thru Trilight's site on DVD-9 to DVD-5 backups (http://dvdguides.trilight.net).
Hoped that helped

Shane, thanks for your reply. That makes sense to me. Somewhere in the software upgrades the way that vobsub outputs the cc stream has changed, but the guide for cc's has not.
I will try importing the file into Scenarist and see what happens.
Thanks again.
