Hello, I need to create a DVD with 2 audio tracks, and then add some menus.
I can use Ulead DVD Workshop to create the video_ts directory with the movie with menus and one audio track, and then IfoEdit to create the movie without menus and 2 audio tracks.
How can I use IfoEdit to copy and paste the menus from the 2 ifo?
Thanks!

Not quite sure if this is what you're after - you haven't explained very clearly but in IFOedit open the IFO file thats missing a menu table and click Tools > Merge Menu Tables. Choose the IFO that contains the menu info and it will copy it across.

I'll try to explain better:
I'm trying to add a second audio track to DVD movies created with software (ULead,DVDLabs..) that let you use only one audio track.
So I created two video_ts directories, one created with ifoedit (no menus and two audio tracks), and one created with Ulead DVD workshop (menus, but a single audio track)
How can I mix the two to obtain a movie with menus and a two audio tracks? is it possible?
I tried the Merge Menu of ifoedit, but doesn't work. IFO files changes but when I play I still have no menus.
Thanks

Oh Ok, you will need to identify the VOB set that contains the movie eg VTS_03_x.vob.
Copy the VTS_03 set of VOBs (and its IFO) from your IFOEdit VIDEO_TS folder into your DVD Workshop VIDEO_TS folder, overwriting the old ones. These VOBs + IFO have the 2 audio tracks you're after. You may also need to use IFOUpdate depending on how you've done this. Do a Get VTS Sectors and everything should work.

Hello, unfortunately it doesn't work.
I tried to copy the vts files, then used ifoedit to merge menu files loading video_ts.ifo (the 2 audio tracks one) and merging from the video_ts.ifo created by ulead soft.
I'm able to see the menus now, but they don't work.
I tried to use ifupdate as well, bot still nothing, can see the menu, but when I click it doesn't move.
thanks

I think you're going to have to take a different approach to achieve what you're after. What exactly is it you're working with here anyway - a DVD? a home movie? How are you creating these menus?
I would author the movie vobs using Maestro (allows multiple audio streams) then slap it in with my menus and use IFOUpdate.
Maestro is nice and easy when making a simple movie like this - just drag and drop your assests into the timelines and hit compile.
We were all new to this at some point - if you get stuck, ask. Usually all you need to do is find out the correct method to achieve what you want to do - the Doom9 guides take care of the rest.

It could work this way:
demux the video- and subpic-stream from your DVD-WS-Vobs with VOBedit
then author a new DVD in IFOedit:
load your demuxed streams for video and subpicture
and your 2 audio streams, then assign languages to
the streams and let IFOedit create your DVD
It is similar to ripping DVD-9 to -5.
I never did it myself, but i believe it is worth a try.
hope this brings you further
