About Stanley Kubriks's "A Clockwork Orange" from 1971.
Very good old movie. One year later would start the movie of my life.
The thing is, I have several AC3 (5.1) streams with English, Spanish and (perhaps) German sound.
There is also a stream with English Mono which I believe is probably the original since we are talking about a 32 years old movie.
Now the question is which stream should I encode?
I would really like to go for Ogg with the Mono stream since there is a whole lot of bitrate to be gained. Will this mono track play in all speakers of a 5.1 system connected to my PC via SPDIF? Or do I need to use the AC3 (5.1) streams? If not what is it needed for?
Thanks.
