AVI to DVD

Hallo everybody,

would anyone help me with how can I calculate the right Variable Bit Rate set for Procoder or TMPG ?? I tested DVD-R Calculator but I think that it is not for this, because I have only length of movie and size of DVD-R.
I want to it use to convert DivX to DVD or DV to DVD.

all you need is length of movie and intended file size (or size of dvd), so that calculator should work.
