Hey all,

I appologize if this has already been answered in another thread. I tried to find it, but couldn't.

Anyways, my friend made a backup of a movie using 321 studios DVD X Copy. I tried to make a copy of off his backup but can't. It says it needs the original DVD. I also tried using DVD Decrypter and was going to use Pinnacle Instant Copy. But DVD Decrypter posts an error message. It looks as if there is something that keeps one from making a copy off of a DVD X Copy'ied disc. Is there a way around this? Some kind of crack or program that can be used? If there is already info posted on this, if someone can point the way or any help is truly appreciated.

Thanks!

Well, I downloaded that program and it says it cannot detect the recorder on my computer. I have the Cendyne 4x DVD-R/RW.

Edit: Actually, I got it to work. I changed it to the .gi type and it still hit the same snags. I guess it's a no go unless someone has any ideas.

Ive tested making copies of such discs before without problems. Just copy it using ISO mode. Its almost impossible for it to fail!
If you cant burn in DVD Decrypter, that is another thing. You can burn in some other program that supports your drive and ISOs.

This is against the rules.

You cannot make a copy of something you do not own.
