First let me say I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
Ok, I got 98 transformer episodes for my son and when I got them there was 10 avi files per disk and I can only play in pc. I want to put them on a dvd disk for him. I tried Ulead DVD Movie Factory 2 and got an error at 4%. I know that with the method I was using I could get about 20 of the files on the dvd. What would be the quickest way for me to get all of these on dvd. Would try vcd but that would be 30 or more disks and I don't want to do that. I figure I could get all of them on 5 or 6 dvds. Any help would be appreciated.

You should convert your avi files to something that's usable for dvd (you need an mpeg2 video and some audio stream). I don't know if there's an dvd authoring package that accepts avis and converts them automatically. There might be a tool that can convert it automatically, but I don't know about that.
Maybe you can use dvd2svcd to convert your avi to dvdformat (I think it can). Or use some avi frameserver (vfapi or something) and reencode your avis using cce or tmpgenc.

ok, I converted 20 of the files to vcd with tmpgenc then used Ulead DVD Movie Factory to make the dvd files with. Problem is that when I was done I had an 4.8 gig of video and audio so I used dvd2one and fixed. When I burn a play it looks grainy or a little fuzzy. Is there a way for me to fix this so the rest don't look like this?

VCD isn;t exactly the best looking format around afcourse and the fact that you had to use dvdshrink on top doesn't add too much to the quality I'm afraid.
Fo the next disc I would be sure not to make it too big (be carefull while calculating the final size).
Maybe an other format svcd (if your stanalone supports this on DVD) or DVD at half resolution give you a better result.
But I think you can better discuss this in the encoding forum or check out some guides at www.doom9.org or www.vcdhelp.com

looks like too many steps there ;)
im not sure how DVD Workshop actually works, but if possible, feed it the avi's and choose a nice lower bitrate than what its trying.
or you can use TMPG to make the avi's in a lower bitrate mpeg2 and tell DVDWorkshop not to reencode.
its best to do only one conversion process, not the three that you just did.
