View Full Version : [HELP]i've set it up to 2CD but only got 500M+

i used gk0.28.1 to rip a dvd to 2CD
but only got a 500MB+ avi file
i've tried both xvid and divx3.11 decoder
all the same result


the dvd is
FILM 29.976FPS
16:9 145mins



i've succeed ripping other dvd under the same setting before
:(
so wutz the problem,is it a gk-mis-counting or something else?

but even worse,only got 350M this time

It seems that you are compressing "From Hell". This movie is known to compress very well, and I think you won't get it on 2 CDs.

here is what's weird

2:28:51 AM: Speed: 783.760 Frames per Second.

it's definitely too short, considering 8h first pass, but it's not avs problem, cause that'd take 3 sec probably. so i think it's corrupted vob or something like that...

some times changing a computer will solve this
i'll try to rip it one more time tomorrow
with the b-frame diable
maybe it's the reason
