View Full Version : GK Hang

I've been getting this problem since the weekend. I extracted all the files off the DVD using robot4rip, and everyhing's fine. Then I try and open the .d2v project in GK, and it just sits there, with CPU @100%.

The only other software I've installed since the last time I used GK was the latest emlule client. Is there a known issue with this, or am I just running a dodgy system?

I'm using version 28, and have tried 28.2, with the same results.

I also get a message saying corrupt registry data when I start GK after a reboot.

Any help is appreciated.

And sorry if this isn't in the right section of the forum, it's my first post.

Right, I think I may have isolated the problem to vStrip. I ripped a DVD manually using DVDDecrypter, and DVD2AVI has no problem processing the vobs, and everything works happily in GKnot. However, Robot4Rip has decided that it can't use DVDDecrypter, and so uses vStrip instead. These vobs don't work, if you know what I mean.

Is it possible that vStrip corrupts the VOB files when extracting them?
