Hello

i ve a problem with scenarist

I use docce4u with T2 Pal (french audio) and all is ok.

I have a video file .mpv and an audio file .mp2.

I use scenarist for authoring , when i import assets, it's ok for video but with the audio file, scenarist ask me the question:
do you want to convert it in pcm file or ac3 file ?

What should i do ?

thanks all for you attention.

Follow the rule number one - search before posting :).

As you are PAL user, you can use mp2 audio stream, but I´m not sure about 100% compatibility especially in older standalones. I recommend you to convert it into AC3. The sample rate has to be 48 KHz.

If you try to search with subject Scenarist + MPA you get some threads for example those:

all PAL dvd standalones are required by the spec to decode mpeg2 audio, whether the do it to the digital out is an entirely different matter (the most common home theatre setup is to only connect the digital out to the amp).
