Hi
I just flashed my toshiba sd-m1612 rev a firmware 1004 with the cleaned firmware 1612_j806_rev A it reads at speeds over 10x.
Reads silence of the lambs in 13 min. and it reads also dvd+rw disks what toshiba told me it could not and they would not provide a new firmware. Good work from hijacker and neo.:D :D :D :D :D :D Now I need a new firmware for my toshiba sd-m1502. Take your time guys.;)

btw, there was a firmware from toshiba that could read dvd+rw some time ago... ;) ok, only 2x speed but better than nothing.

I have the Rev B version, flashed mine, got similar results. This is great!

Makes you wonder why they allowed CCS discs to be read, but not quickly....

surely they want that you hear the sound of the movie during playback. :D
