Hejsa
I've been using DIF4U 1.1.1 og RA 06.3, and encountered a strange problem. I've done the move Prime Gig, everything went well wihtout any errors.
When inserting the disc in the player, the disc starts up with the title menu with the audio selection, when this is done it changes to the root menu, but here it pauses ! If i press play the Root menu start and I can use it to select scenes and so on.
How do I force it to play the root menu, so you don't have to press play.
Best Regards

It won't help you much, but I had the exact same problem with the movie MIB2. I cleared the whole dir, restarted DIF4U, reauthored, and then it worked. I don't know what I did differently the second time in DIF4U (I don't think it is related to DIF4U to say the least), so I'm afraid I'm not very helpful here. Try checking your DIF4U parameters carefully, maybe try authoring the DVD with main menu only to see if it behaves the same, check options in IFOUpdate (I would suspect the problem comes from this step of the process or the authoring part). Did you use the "Create VIDEO-TS folder for other VTS" option in DIF4U ? If not I recommend using it to be sure your final files are OK.
Good luck (if you find the cause, please let me know).

This might be due to having one of the cells created as "Cell Restricted", where in the original it wasn't. You need to fire up IfoEdit and open the relevant IFO for where it is freezing. Then go the VTS_PGCITI...VTS_PGC_nn tree and scroll down to look at the cell properties. If "Cell Restricted" is set to anything other than 0, edit the value to say 0 and save. This has worked for a couple of people in the past.

Hey Aqua
I gave it a try, and the cell was set to another value, so I corrected it to 0.
But I'm sad to sad it didn't solve the problem, the still button becomes active when root menu should start, I can still just press play and the menu comes up fine. I can see it changes to the menu track, and the pauses for some reason.
Is there an easy way to copy the ifoedit information in this forum ? A copy paste function ??

I have a similar problem where I had a DVD processed through Reauthorist which I authored through Scenarist. It's a DVD with
a couple of previews at the beginning.
Scenarist authored it fine and then I applied IFOUpdate to it
When I play the movie, it goes through the preview but when I hit the next chapter button to go to the main menu, the screen goes blank
and the time elapsed screws up. When I hit the play button, I then see the main menu properly
Not sure if anyone has seen this behaviour before. Is it a problem in how Scenarist authored the DVD or is it a problem with IFOUpdate?

I've had this problem with some titles too. There is a solution presented at the end of this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52309

Seems like a lot of us have had IFOUdate problems. I've been just fine working down through the big 3, then IFOUdate time and problems start. Seems like I always have to bail out with IFOedit. IFOUdate must be okay since a good many use it, maybe would be worth while for someone to do a quick checkup guide on. It's no doubt the weak link for newbies.
