I cannot get DTS to work right when authoring in ifoedit. DD5.1 works flawlessly, as does any DD track for that matter. But for some reason DTS is acting up...it will play ok for a while, then my receiver will just lose the track and start playing silence. the weird thing is if I scan back to the part where it stopped and select the DTS track again with the remote, the DTS starts playing again and all is well. So it's not like the DTS is not there, it just stops getting sent out for some reason, or my recevier loses synch with the dvd player digital audio out, or something. anyone else have similar problems? I'm thinking of going to DVDmaestro in the future to author with DTS because I can't seem to get IfoEdit to work.
Note: It may also be caused by my ripping method. I use dvd decrypter to get the main movie PGC and then demux the mpv and any audio tracks I want. This method works ok for DD5.1. I am going to try to use vobedit to demux the DTS from the actual VOB's, instead of demuxing while I rip with decrypter, to eliminate that potential variable. Otherwise, I just encode in CCE, use pulldown, and then author the DVD in ifoedit.
