I saw the following on Meritline's website. Does anyone have any information on the quality of these DVD-R's? I am considering them for 2x burning on a Pioneer 104.

>>You have another superb choice!
A great substitute for Meritline/Ritek 4X DVD-R media:
DVDPro 1X-4X DVD-R media!

The new DVDPro 1X-4X DVD-R media has greatly improved its quality,
compatibility and reliability, making it a strong alternative of
Ritek/Meritline 4x media.

What is more, this media will always burn at the maximum speed
your burner (2X or 4X) allows. No firmware hassels, no compatibility
frustrations and price is more than reasonable ( as low as $1.39).<<

DVDPro has always ment princo in the past.

I can't comment further as i haven't tried them. Personally I'd rather get ritek g03's and live with the slower write speed.

One of our wholesalers offered us Princo 4x DVD-R media.

But they had the caluse "sold as is, no returns accepted". And to think I was scared enough of the princo 4x media even before they had that disclaimer.

However they did say the last batch they went throguh was of good quality and I believe my wholesaler, I just don't trust princo's quality control.

You guys convinced me. I ordered Ritek G03's instead of the "new improved" DVDPro's, even though the G03's are on back order at Supermedia Pro. Thanks for the advice.
